This is a reminder that the amendments to Rule 203A-2(e) under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, concerning the Internet Adviser Exemption, will take effect on July 8, 2024.
Definition of Internet Adviser: An Internet Adviser, as defined by the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, is an adviser who provides digital investment advisory services through an operational interactive website. This includes a website, mobile application, or similar digital platform, where advisory services are provided on an ongoing basis to more than one client.
